2   How many logo variations do you need? *

Logo variations consist of the main logo plus its different orientations. Generally, a main logo includes text and an icon - usually shown in a horizontal format or vertical format. Other variations include the alternative (horizontal or vertical) and only the icon without text (great for favicons/site icons, profile images, etc).

In rarer instances, the logo can still remain consistent to branding while being displayed in an alternative format (eg: icon in the middle with the text surrounding it)

3   Add white logo variations (OPTIONAL):

When simply reversing to a white logo on a dark background, elements in the design may appear more tightly spaced in comparison to dark logos. This is due to "irradiation illusion."

Each element remains the same size as the original logo design.

Visual adjustments create spacing that appears more consistent to the spacing in the darker logo variations.

Elements will not necessarily mirror the same positioning and/or size as their darker counterparts.

NOTE: Pantone is a specialty ink used for precise ink colour matching in printed material. The print process is more expensive; therefore, PMS (Pantone Matching System) inks are typically used for higher-end projects where maintaining precise colour consistency is a priority and the additional investment is justified.

PRICING:
All prices are subject to change under our discretion. 85% + HST downpayment is required before work begins. A downpayment signifies your approval for Blue Monster Creative to begin work on your project as discussed. Any additional work requested beyond our initial scope is separately charged at our hourly rate (please ask us for our latest rate). Taxes are always applicable. Remaining balance is received before digital files are released.

PROOFS & PROCESS:
A proof will be sent to show you how each logo variation will look in the colour palettes discussed, aside from black or white. Once logo variation files are approved, a designer will create all of the files and the brand guide if applicable.

Before files are released, you will receive a watermarked digital proof. 2 minor changes are included (changes referred to as “minor” at our discretion) and must be requested before final approval and BEFORE a final payment is made. Additional work after final payment is made will incur additional charges at our discretion and at our hourly rate (please ask us).

Orders are completed in our priority order and within a reasonable time according to our schedules. The minimum time to complete your project can be as little as 1-3 business days (for a smaller number of files); however, this also depends on the speed of the downpayment, proof approval, and final payment. It's best to allow for more time whenever possible.

DESIGN NOTES:
• JPG files will contain negative spacing, which is shown as a white background with additional space surrounding the logo (great for social media!)
• Illustrative logos are not applicable and are priced separately. Please contact us for a custom inquiry.
• Unless requested otherwise, backgrounds are white or transparent. All text is outlined. Clean, professional vector files provided.

NO WARRANTY OR REFUNDS:
We make no representation or warranty that your logo design is compatible with all media types (eg: scalability, digitization for embroidery, etc). Contact us to discuss investing in a logo design package for more media flexibility. Colours may not print as shown, as to be expected with process colours. If trademarking is important, we recommend speaking to a lawyer for advice before discussing work with us. Refunds are not available for any design-related services.
