To begin, there are 2 to 3 types of Hosting that businesses require. These hosting types are: Domain, Email (sometimes), and Website. Some membership platforms wrap all 3 into one plan. This can be convenient, unless you want to move a hosted product to another company later on. The 3 types of hosting are further explained below:
- Domain Hosting: If you haven't already, purchase a domain through a well-known domain registrar. It's best to keep your domain (URL) as short and simple as possible. We can offer our domain registrar recommendations if preferred.
- Email Hosting: Decide if you want an email associated with your domain (generally through your domain registrar).
- Website Hosting: We offer plans at competitive rates. See below for more information.
- Estimate: Please contact us to discuss the website you envision. The number of pages, and any specific functions and details will assist us in providing you with a free, personalized website estimate. A deposit is only required prior to work beginning.
- Design/Launch: Once your design is approved and fully paid, we launch and hand over your new website - giving you full administrative access.
- Maintenance: You are free to take care of your site yourself, or we can help. If you need a hand with maintenance, we offer Maintenance Plans, designed to save our clients money with routine updates, backups, edits, etc.
Website Maintenance
As your website grows with you, technology changes as well. Plugins, themes, and WordPress will offer updates in your dashboard area. These updates are highly recommended to enhance security, fix any software bugs, and even add additional functionality and features from time to time. Since bots can find back doors to any size of website, update often to help give your site optimal protection from brute force attacks.
Let us know which items on your website require regular maintenance on each month, and we’ll help you choose from our Plan Packages below, or we can customize a plan that best suits your needs. We’ll also let you know when you’ve reached your monthly limit so you can decide if you’d like to increase your plan.
Maintenance items may be evaluated on a case by case basis. Below is a list of some items that can be included in your Maintenance Plans or individual maintenance requests as part of your plan. If there is time at the end of each maintenance month (within the last 7 days of the month), any available plugins, themes, and core updates will be performed, and a report and security overview will be emailed to you.

Overage
What if I go over my time each month?
Overage is billed at our regular, hourly website design rate. We will let you know when you’ve reached your monthly time limit and you can then decide upon the following options:
- To increase your plan
- To save any remaining revisions for the following month
- To have the remainder of your maintenance performed at our regular website design rate
- To fast forward the following month’s maintenance time
Terms & Conditions
- Taxes are additional
- Website Maintenance Plans, Backups, and Hosting are non-refundable. Unused time does not roll over to the following month or year
- There are no guarantees or warranties that plugin, theme, server, or WordPress issues or conflicts will not arise during Maintenance. Blue Monster Creative will do its best to repair conflicts and solve issues as efficiently as possible. Most times, issues can be fixed within the Maintenance Plan time; however, if further time (or cost) is needed, you will be notified that additional costs may occur.
** Maintenance Plans do not include website monitoring. Security overview is included when time is available within the hour.
