There are 3 types of online hosting. 2 are required for a website. These are: Domain and Website Hosting. The 3rd type is Email Hosting. Some subscription platforms (eg: Wix, Weebly, etc) initially wrap all 3 types into one plan. This can be convenient for the initial year or so, but we've heard from our clients how expensive it actually gets. It's also a bit of a pain if you want to move a hosted product to another company later on. The 3 types of hosting are further explained below:

"Sharing" isn't always "caring"
"Shared hosting" means that multiple websites are hosted in the same account and share the same cPanel. It’s cost effective to host this way; however, websites in a shared server space will affect yours by slowing your site down and potentially causing errors.
Someone else’s website shouldn’t be your problem. This is why your site has its own dedicated resources with our VPS Hosting (not Shared Hosting).

With either of our + (Plus) plans, we can use any of the following additional features on your site without needing costly advanced coding or plugins from random developers. These additional features would normally cost extra when purchased from the theme developer, but we're INCLUDING* access to:

Hosting Plans
We offer 4 fantastic plans where you're not tied down to a domain registrar or website host. Our website hosting plans are paid annually, and are due just prior to your renewal date.
Save money annually
EVERY new site build begins with savings. Additionally, each year that you hire us for web design and/or maintenance work, you're eligible to continue saving on the following year's hosting renewal. It's our way of saying thank you.
Example: Let's say your hosting renewal is due this year. You've hired us to work on your site at least once between your last renewal and this upcoming renewal, so you're eligible for a Design & Host plan! Eligibility is included with Maintenance Plans, too.
AutoSSL means that your website is automatically secured with a free Domain Validated (DV) SSL certificate by Sectigo. It is set up with your hosting, but not forced on the front-end of your website. This means that although your website has AutoSSL, it will be labelled as "not secure" (http) until the front-end is also set up. It is beneficial to have your site labelled as secure (https) for a couple of reasons: SEO (Google prefers secure sites in its ranking), and so as not to deter site visitors who may not risk a visit to a website that does not appear to be secure. Please contact us if you have any questions.
*Use of theme, builder, and theme add-ons, including updates and related functionality, is included only while the website is hosted by Blue Monster Creative.
Website Backups
Your entire website, and the time you spend updating your content, is an investment. It’s worth ensuring that if something happens, you have recent files that can be conveniently used to restore all of your hard work. Backups are something that you don’t want to be without. We can perform manual backups – just give us a shout (especially recommended if you’re about to perform Wordpress updates), and automated backups. We store your files on our server until a new backup overwrites it.
– Manual Backups*: Performed upon request.
– Automatic Backups*: Tie in with your Hosting and Website Maintenance Plan for one easy payment.
Terms & Conditions
- Website Maintenance Plans, Backups, and Hosting are non-refundable. Unused time does not roll over to the following month or year.
- There are no guarantees or warranties that plugin, theme, server, or Worpress issues or conflicts will not arise during Maintenance. Blue Monster Creative will do its best to repair conflicts and solve issues as efficiently as possible. Most times, issues can be fixed within the Maintenance Plan time; however, if further time (or cost) is needed, you will be notified.
